    Phenomenal season.

I just don't want to leave this universe. It is too familiar. VG please make another show in this universe after this. We need it.

Wouldn't that just be him selling some weed and getting stoned while playing video games?

Maybe a Narcos style spin-off showing the rise of Hector etc.

I'd rather see what Nacho and Lalo are up to post BB.

I don't recall BB very well anymore. But I remember there was a time when it seemed like Gus was surely going to off Jesse. But instead, Mike mentored him. I wonder if Gus owed him one after what he had to do in the finale.

That's an interesting observation. I kind of took what Mike did in the finale as his "breaking bad" moment. Not as drastic as Jimmy turning into Saul, but certainly he became what he was in BB after what he did at the end there.

    Actually way more drastic IMO.

Didn't Walt threaten Gus by saying he wouldn't cook without Jesse, and after even that didn't help, they killed the other cook breh?
From that point on, Gus had no other choice but to let Jesse cook and Mike was there to kinda look after him.

Well sure, murder is pretty drastic. I meant drastic in that Mike was already a criminal for years, so it was just another "small" step in that direction. Jimmy went from a likeable underdog who actually cared to a full on morally corrupt criminal.

Either owed him one, or he learns to trust Mike's instincts and ability to find an easier path, without always killing.

definitely a Mike "BB"-ish moment. Can see him saying next time, "I'm out this time. Not doing that." and Gus being more willing to listen, knowing Mike ain't no p***y, who's just looking for easy ways.

Mike was a criminal, but he seemed to have a code. Nothing Jimmy did this last episode really bothered me personally. He doesn't care about his brother? Fine with me. He has to pull one over a panel because they arbitrarily decided he needs to care about his brother? Fine with me. He wants to protect the "little guy" like the girl they didn't give the scholarship to? Fine with me. He wants to change the name under which he does business? Fine with me.

Those things might not bother you personally, but all those things add up to Jimmy becoming Saul. He took the biggest step towards becoming Saul from BB in this episode in the entire series. This is best evidenced by Kim's look of horror when she realizes that Saul/Jimmy last show of emotion was all a play. "Did you see those assholes cry?" Well, Kim was one of those "assholes". It was a powerful moment.

Capn cook can show some funny tight situations but no one cares about his family drama.
