Hello everyone. I'm traveling to the UK and will be visiting Central London and also Edinburgh. Anyone have good suggestions on places to eat? Places to avoid?

Also any tips on off the beaten path things to do, or things to pick up while I'm there, are appreciated.

Thank you for the advice. I have heard of dishoom. Sounds like good indian food. That's what I want since I can't get that where I live at the moment. It's been two years since I've had decent indian. Chip shops sound like a sure bet for sure. Will be in scotland too. Going to try haggis for the first time.

Also going to rewatch snatch! Haha great clip!

A good place for a pizza is Delfino pizza in Mayfair on Mount street. Peroni and pizza...keep it simple.

OMG good mention of San Carlo Cicetti. I was trying to remember the name. I know a bunch of Premier League stars and managers like to eat there.

    ^^^^^ Dishoom FTW.
Lived in London. Going back for a few days before heading to San Sebastian. My only requirement in London is Dishoom. If you don't go, kill yourself.

Also, check out Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese on Fleet Street. Cool pub from like the 1400s.
My fav bar in the world is Nightjar in London, not far from the Shoreditch Dishoom. Drinks aren't cheap, but they're delicious. I'd make a rez if you want to pop in for a drink.
