It was always just as certain there would be multiple sequels for this just as it was for Star Wars. It was too good (the first one) and successful (all 3) for it not to happen.
Very true, the series pretty much printed money. I'm going to be honest.. If they make it.. I'll watch it
Stupid. I agree with Tarantino that 2 and 3 kind of ruined the franchise and hurt the first one as an all time great stand alone film. Just leave it alone. Rebooting stuff like Dune and other failed projects that had great potential should be the priority, but these suits just want to reboot successful franchises for guaranteed profits regardless if the films are good or not. They just want to sell the name again. Dune. Glad it's being rebooted. John Carter of Mars. Should get a sequel or a reboot. I personally really enjoyed it, but it was horribly marketed and they failed by not getting a bigger name cast. Some of Michael Giachinno's best work on the score. Really memorable in a John Williams kind of way. Green Lantern. Obviously, needs a reboot. **** it. Reboot the entire DC movieverse with a solo Flash movie that changes the timeline. They have a character that they can use as the perfect excuse to start over. Mortal Kombat. Reboot for a modern take on it. The 13th Warrior. Perfect time for a reboot with Vikings series being popular. Ahmad ibn Fadlan retelling of his accounts with Vikings and one of the few actually recorded accounts of Vikings if I am not mistaken. Super dope. More Michael Crichton novels need reboots IMO. They're continuing Jurrasic Park franchise, and Westworld was great. Just reboot all of his work. Conan The Barbarian. I'll take another sequel with old bearded Arnold please. Old monster movies in a Penny Dreadful style. Resident Evil. Do it proper horror/zombie style. Not some techno fast paced action movie. Spawn. Done like the HBO series. Crime Noir. Logan's Run.
