I don't watch as much basketball as I used to so I was just curious and wanted to start a discussion about who you feel are the worst floppers and why.
For Me Dirk Nowitzki takes the cake.

    Here's my All-NBA Flop team:

    G Allen Iverson
    G Manu Ginobili http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vayNnzkIdpk
    F Bruce Bowen
    F Dirk Nowitzki
    C Anderson Varejao

Here's by second All-NBA flop team

    G Derek Fisher
    G Richard Hamilton
    F Andres Nocioni
    F Reggie Evans http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Itu6BeKEi8Y
    C Andrew Bogut

There are some 90's Jazz players that, though inactive, are still on my first team.

I think scola belongs somewhere on the list. I wish he would stop doing as he is being called for a foul a lot of times.

Manu Ginobli is the biggest flopper in the league, he should be hired as an actor.

He just has to get used to NBA players speed. He should keep doing it till he perfects it.

I agree, Ginobli is the biggest flopper I have ever witnessed. Watch his pump fakes and what he does after that.

Manu is the biggest....him and Wade.

Our own Shane should make one of the teams.

There is no such thing as best flopper. Flopping=bad, hence there can only be the worst flopper. btw, Devin Harris owns this thread hands down.

    It's easy Ginobili.

I remember once seeing Shaq flopping on a guard, a couple years ago I think. It was a thing of beauty.

maybe im biased, but i think battier is one of the more convincing floppers. i find myself giving him the benefit of the doubt more, where with any other player i would be screaming "come on flopper!".

Flops on offense are worse to me than flops on defense. So Dirk and Ginobili bother me more than Scola, Fisher and Battier.

Yeah, defensive flopping is not as bad as offensive flopping. Sometimes you have to semi-flop on defense in order to convince the refs to make the legitimate offensive foul calls. Besides, you have to be in good defensive position in order to flop. Getting into position is part of legitimate defensive skills.

Offensive flopping, on the other hand, has no excuse. I hate to see players jump into the defender and get the call. I hate to see players flailing their hands just to get the call with no intention of making the shot. I hate to see guys sticking out their legs or swiping their arms in the act of shooting to draw contact.

Here are some of the worst offensive floppers: Nowitzki, Ginobili, Wade, Kobe

Ginobili, Wade, AI, Monta Ellis, Devin Harris...

Don't give me the "they're so little, they don't flop!" excuse for the last 3 guys...there's no way you should flail like you've just been shot after some of the contact that they get...
