So hard to pick but I'll give it a shot from the top of my head.

    Tonkatsu at RamenBar Ichi
Lobster Deviled Eggs at Pappas Bros Steakhouse
    Steak at Pappas Bros Steakhouse
    Beef Ribs at Killen's
    Bone Marrow at Kata Robata
Ice Cream at Fat Cat Creamery
Chicken & Waffles at Breakfast Klub
    Pho at Pho Dien

This place gets hyped a lot and I think their Ice Cream is terrible, especially when compared with so many great Ice Cream options in the city. Cloud 10, Hank's, Smoosh, Chocolate Bar, etc are all better

Tried Cloud 10 and thought it was worse than Fat Cat's. Need to try those others you mentioned.

Maybe I should edit my post to say Chocolate Stout Icecream at Fat Cat's because that's what I normally get.

Don't know if it's still open, but Reef has a appetizer sampler for $50 or so that's a tower with 3 levels of all kinds of seafood goodness. Easily enough for dinner for 2.

Reef also has the best Pork Chop in Houston. Yes, even better than Perry's.

Nope. The restaurant should reopen in a week or so.

What a dumbass post, Cheesecake Factory is complete ****. Bananas foster is still tops though.

Out in Cypress, chicken parm at Marvino's has yet to disappoint.

Interesting, though if I'm going there I'm eating seafood. Their crab cakes and seared scallops were great too. Haven't been there in several years so maybe something's changed.

Best tortas in Houston are/were at Mexico's Deli.

I think you've misunderstood the title of the thread. OP is asking for the best dish at a restaurant. Not the restaurant that makes something specific the best.

That's the best dish at a restaurant.

For me it's an unfair question...i tend to binge & then ignore.

    Currently binging on:
    Etoile's Steak au Poivre
    Houston's Baby Back Ribs
    Cafe Lili's Kibbeh Nayeh

Campechana de Mariscos at Goode Co. Seafood on Westpark

Their seafood gumbo used to be top-notch, is there better somewhere?

Where are the best spicy Viet-Cajun crabs/crawfish/shrimp around Houston?

I would say LA crawfish. I would also say stay away from the crab and crawfish at the moment and just stick to the shrimp.

Still waiting to try Lotus Seafood and see what theyre about though.

Oh I know the seasons, good call though. Lotus looks really interesting.

I looooove my softshell crab too. Spring/Summertime on the Coast is a good time.
