You gotta feel bad for Douglas. After all the flak he got last year and early this year from Knicks fans, he was really starting to play pretty well for a team that used his talents in the right way....and he gets sent to what is possibly the worst place to go. The guy that mentioned the overabundance of shoot first guards was right on...he wont get any time to show that his play in Houston was no fluke. The main thing he does that is better than the other guards the Kings have is play defense...something Sacramento doesnt really seem to care about.
It's possible Douglas isn't back with Sacramento after this year though - he's a RFA and you gotta figure the Kings are not going to match much over a qualifying offer for Douglas - they are looking for pennies in the couch cushions for goodness sake. I could see another playoff team making Douglas an offer as an insurance policy on their starter.
The thing is, there are few NBA teams where TD fits. He need a ball-dominating SG that can play PG when the PG sits, so that he doesn't really have to play PG. Houston, Miami, LAL are the real candidates. Perhaps OKC if they play RWB at SG.
