    Just got a pre recording call from the Rockets. They want a lot of people there early for Yao so they are offering Beers and Sodas for $1 tonight before 6:45.

    Rockets management must have been beyond furious with the lack of "early turnout" for the TNT Hawks game last night. It was an AWFUL look on TV. Just awful. Yeah the start time was 10 minutes earlier. Yeah all of the SuperBowl stuff. Nonetheless, it was a bad look.

    Clearly with the $1 beers and the early open time, they are trying hard to get people's butts in the seats.

    Yesterday was as bad as I've ever seen when the game started. Arena was really sparse. It's the Super Bowl traffic. Sucks that the Dwight game and Yao jersey retirement game is during that time period. Glad to see they're doing something to get fans in early.
