Jones and Harden are good at being defensive liabilities

    Great analysis.

It's nice how he included some of the dumb stuff they did in the 4th, too.

Prigioni trying to steal the ball from CP3 40 feet from the basket?? WTF! Overplaying Austin Rivers. Brewer getting confused leading to a wide open JJ three.

The focus on Griffin in the analysis is interesting. It seems mostly right. One, he can't defend. Which makes our PFs performance thus far all the more disappointing - absent the last game. Jones has been able to score against him. And now Smith has. For two, he was indeed more tentative in the 4th. That tentativeness, combined with the Rockets being the aggressors, also got the refs on the Rockets side. There was some contact, but good no calls, in the way that the Rockets bigs and Harden have been plagued by the no calls on the other end.

My only beef would be the commentary on the Brewer drive. That's not a charge on any planet. You have to be in front of someone to draw a charge. Brewer hits Griffin's left shoulder... because Griffin is trying TOO HARD to draw a charge, get's planted, and doesn't adjust like Brewer does. It's a clear foul.

    ^^^
My exact thoughts. They kept talking about how it should have been a charge in the game, but I just kept thinking "you can't take a charge with your side."

Great video, indeed we made some silly mistakes but also some great defensive possessions. So what's the verdict on the Brewer drive, travel? I seriously cannot tell because of his weird legs, they distract me

I wish we had Dmo for this series. I think we could have won in 5. Could you imagine Dmo wearing out Blake in the post all game? No way he could stop cap'n hook.

Does that stat really say our best lineup is without Harden?? If so I wonder if Mchale has seen this and that's why he went with that lineup or maybe he just knows from experience.

If you're talking about that table shown at the beginning of the vid, it's clearly showing the line up ratings for Game 6 only.

I believe Howard's earlier hard foul on Blake was the game changer. For once he went flying and it wasn't a flop. Blake was very tentative after that...maybe with the exception of the circus shot. The subsequent blocks by Howard and Smith seemed to take away what was left of his heart in that game.

Every time Jones is aggressive, he easily scores against Blake in this series. They should really look at film in the next 2 days and exploit this.
