Yeah I wouldn’t want to cut Miller just saying if we do there are other options out there.

I don't give a **** who gets cut or how much money they save from it, they to spend ALL of their free agent money addressing the o line and secondary. The whole ****ing amount, Deshaun will fix everything else. And I'm pretty sure if they can't get J.J to restructure next offseason he's gone, he can dedicate his time to taking instagram pics and doing nothing productive with that 30+ mil he stole

Dude this draft is littered with good running backs from top to bottom, they should replace the whole ****ing stable

Hate to break it to ya, but this year's O-line FA class is fairly weak. Will they spend some money on free agent O-linemen? Sure. But will their O-line issues be fixed through free agency? Not likely. The secondary is a different story. There's some really solid DB's in this year's FA class and I would expect the Texans to spend money on at least one or two of them.

Replacing Miller, who's a very solid NFL RB when he has a competent QB and O-line (the O-line still wasn't great when Deshaun was in, but Miller was much more effective with Watson at QB). The odds of finding a RB in the 3rd round or later that would be able to come in and instantly fill Miller's shoes are not good. Foreman should be a really solid RB moving forward, but his Achilles injury will potentially keep him out of the first few games of next season and there's no guarantee that he's the same RB after a torn Achilles. Simply put, releasing Miller would only create more holes on a roster that already has gaping holes on the O-line and secondary.

Miller, Foreman, Blue and any other street FA they bring in for depth is fine at RB. We have much bigger holes to fill than to create more. Everyone seems so low on Blue, I thought he really improved his speed to the hole the last two years and was serviceable. He's not a homerun hitter but a decent 3rd RB.

    Needs at a minimum:
OL x3 or x4 -- to even become formidable
CB -- have to bring in at least one starting caliber even if J-Jo comes back
Safety -- at least one, maybe two starters
TE -- probably need a starter given Fiedorowicz concussions
WR -- depth, not much behind Nuk and Fuller
    QB -- backup
    OLB -- depth

We needed to upgrade TE position even if CJ was 100%
