First 2 games is not enough to say they show huge potential and they havent looked that great since. Rockets play a lot of pick and roll and it is pretty obvious that the Hawks and Pistons were not prepared. Teams are adjusting and what the duo can do now on will show what they are made of.

I voted for Cat/Francis on accident. Tmac era might have been the most disappointing but they still did the most. Way to soon to say Harden and Lin.

I like Cat and Francis. They just look like such a darn happy couple.

    Sura faints:)

I know tinman doesn't like Tmac, not for his skills though. James and Jeremy are not here long enough to give them a fair assessment. I sure hope they would be the best among those duos in a year or two. As much as I like SF3's passion for this team, TMaz/Rafer were better, simply because Tmac was that good.

Just to be that guy, I will point out that the 00s technically is the decade of 2000 to 2009.

Also no love for Brooks - Artest duo that got us to the second round of the playoffs?

This is an extreme case of, "What have you done for me lately, Eddie". The fact that Lin and Harden have more votes is most are delusional or they are young. T-Mac and Skip are the best choice. Both had tremendous court vision and all the negative stuff about Skip with his shot selection never seem to remember that he was great at setting up plays. Guy knew how to run the offense really well and T-Mac just was T-Mac. Best player so far in this poll. Harden and Lin have not proved anything besides a couple of nice passes. Have to wait to see on them

Ideally, we revisit this thread in 3 years. But at least, lets reserve judgement until the end of this season.

    My take:

Francis - Mobley: Middle-to-low efficiency, lower assists, iso-ball
Alston - McGrady: Low efficiency, medium assists, iso-ball
Lowry - Martin: High efficiency, medium-high assists, motion offense
Lin - Harden (so far): Middle efficiency, medium assists, helter skelter up tempo

I honestly like all 4. On paper, Lowry Martin looks best to me. However, I think all four could go deep with a balanced front court.

I think McGrady is heads and tails better than the other 7 on the list, so I voted for Alston + McGrady. We know how that story ended; but I'm going for 'best case scenario'. He really could take over games at will unlike Martin. Again, the jury is out on Harden and Lin.

T Mac and Raefer for sure. Lin and Harden is unproven right now. Francis and Mobley were nice, but T Mac took them to a whole nother level.

K Lo & Martin? I don't believe we did anything with them. Nice idea but just never panned out.

There is no way lin/harden should be #1 right now... almost any of those choices are better based on game stats alone.
