    This is very cool!

    http://awfulannouncing.blogspot.com/2008/09/nba-tv-to-let-fans-vote-on-tuesday.html

So basically if the Rockets play on that Tuesday fan night, we can attempt to vote them onto NBAtv. Rock on!

We have 12 Tuesday games, but one of them is already slated for TNT, so looks like we'll have 11 chances to get on NBATV Fan Night.

I wonder if they would start to fudge the numbers if we managed to vote the Rockets on 3 or 4 times in a row...

    :D

Isn't this a bad thing? I get NBA league pass, but not NBAtv since my college doesn't subscribe to it. That means that if the Rockets game is voted in, I won't be able to see it.

You can still watch it on league pass I believe. I am pretty sure I used to be able to watch it on either channel when it was on NBAtv.

Umm yeah this is not a good thing...not everybody gives you NBA TV without paying for an extra sports subscription.

I too could not watch NBAtv games with my LP. And I'll be damned if I pay a monthly fee for some channel when i already paid 200 for a package that should give all the games.

I don't understand why some people aren't getting NBA TV with their League Pass. It's like their flagship station. Whether subscribing through cable or satellite, I've always received NBA TV as part of the package.

It depends on your provider, Brooksball. I get it with DirectTv League pass and with my sports package on Dtv.

So for me more NBAtv means more exposure for the Rockets.

So maybe yall can complain to your providers. Tell them that you should get the same NBA League pass as the DirectTv users.

Actually not to derail my own thread. Awful Announcing is a pretty cool blog. They basically critique the media that covers sports. It's an interesting site to follow, imho.

Why would I want to vote for the Rockets I would rather watch some teams I never get to watch, especially since I get to see the Rockets on FSN either way.
