    I don't see this having anything to do with DJ.
    Either he opts in or out he would be out of there. They needed playing time for all their guards especially their rookies. And Austin wouldn't take well to getting DNP.

    Jerry West making a huge statement to Doc Rivers that Austin Rivers favoritism over other Guards will end, it did cause locker room problems. Chris Paul wanted out because of Austin Rivers. Austin is such a jerk, he thinks he is a All Star, even his teammates did say he is cocky and arrogant.
