He has to grow up first, he has talent but the Rox don't play a style that suits him, he needs the ball in his hands, he is an attacking wing.....the Rox have Lowry and Dragic who also need the ball in their hands.

Who would you give the ball to?

This was a pretty good self-diagnosis and he was talking about himself, not his mates when he made the "trying to get a point, rebound, or assist on every play" comment. That was the problem with his game when he was here. He was trying to do something everytime he touched the ball and became a black hole turnover pit as a result. His "dont care for them" comment was simply "don't care about them". He was just saying he's moved on and he's concerned about Sac not Hou anymore.

TWill has talent. I'm starting to have my doubts if he ever puts it all together. He doesn't seem to know how to win his teammates over as a leader, which he really needs to do if he is going to run things from the top. And it doesn't appear that he can modify his game to be more efficient.

TWill really should flip his game to be a driver/finisher first and then kick out if he can't get his layup. He would be much more effective just using his athleticism to get to the rim and finish then trying to make all the cutesy passes that turn into crap.

The other aspect of his game, his shooting, don't know if he'll ever actually get efficient enough to be more than a bit player. He still doesn't shoot well from the FT line and his jumper is questionable. He's been in the league too many years to not have improved by now. In my opinon, that is simply offseason reps, 1000 jumpers and free throws a day repetition, to get his shooting percentages up to efficient levels. He hasn't improved it in 3 seasons now. Don't know if it is going to happen for him at this point.

I didn't care much for Twill since he got here, either. Nothing against him, I just didn't think he would make it here. But he's a friggin beast in 2k12 though, killin my team from all corners of the court.

Cant believe Im going to say this but....Good point DD. McHale and Adelman were both very much "system" guys. You just cant expect a coach like that to throw the playbook out the window and give a guy like him free reign.

Oh well... boo hoo. The Rockets would have to move or bundle that late first round pick this year anyways. Its probably more beneficial to develop guys like Morris, Montiejunas, & whoever else they draft then to keep cluttering the end of the bench with projects who become lockeroom distractions because they arent getting a chance.

Don't think he meant anything bad, just saying the standard "game vs old team is just another game" thing.

5 turnovers and basically 50% from the FT line. He had a poor game, non-winning basketball play after play.

I dont think he meant anything bad either, but he was lying about it not being payback. The combo of the lowest assist, highest TO, and highest pt total as a king shows he went into payback mode.

by the way....seems like a lot of players have trouble finding a barber once they get traded...no sure why. Do they not ask who other players go to?
