Think we could hit 65-70 wins this year.
very nice signing. best one so far. shoring up our bullpen will add on AT LEAST 10 more wins, i predict around 13 more wins.
I guess that's the reason, I'm just surprised that there wasn't a single team willing to give him more. Seems like his track record is good enough.
then again, i guess he may have chosen to take 1 year to get his value back up to where it was pre-injury before signing longer-term.
Yep. I think a lot of theses guys look to teams like the Astros to do that. They know they will get opportunities to show off.
Jesse Crain is a MONSTER. I predict that the Astros will move him to closer and flip him at the trade deadline to a contender, although I'd hate to see him go.
Whoops! Sorry, I didn't realize you'd already made the same statement about flipping him. Does anyone else think he will be our closer?
