Not surprised. Luhnow brought up the same point on Astroline I made in the off season thread. If they do nothing this off season they are still the favorites to win the division. I think he wants to roll with the young guys and see what is needed at the deadline.

Let's see the terms of the deal. He may very well be a back up. Remember, the Rangers turned down his 4.5 million dollar option. Theoretically the Astros could have dealt for him if they wanted to. Either he isn't getting much money or the Astros badly read the free agent market.

 

If only Stassi hadn't turned into a pumpkin at the plate last year. I'd much prefer him over someone like Chirinos if he could just be an average hitting catcher.

 

This has ZERO to do with Elias and Sig.
