Well, evolution is all about mutations. There will be good mutations (e.g., more efficient oxygen use) and bad mutations.

So, our next mission is to send 50 young, strong, breedable female astronauts up there, to bring them back a year later for procreation studies with our man Scott Kelly, and his twin brother....and least that's what we would do if 'ole Bucky Boy Turgidson was in charge.

It replicates some of the challenges to immunotherapy treatment, a telomeras inhibitor which targets telomerase-positive tumor cells but doesn't harm normal telomerase-carrying cells or cause hematological toxicity , it can shed some light on the possiblity to extend telomerase clinicals response to an existing genetic thearpy

    https://www.theverge.com/2018/3/15/...y-dna-scott-kelly-international-space-station

Several stories this week have proclaimed that the DNA of former NASA astronaut Scott Kelly changed during his year living on the International Space Station. The stories say that 7 percent of his genes did not return back to normal when he came back to Earth. It makes it seem as if the space environment permanently altered his genetic code. The problem? That’s not true.

NASA also confirmed this in a statement to The Verge: “Scott’s DNA did not fundamentally change,” a NASA spokesperson said. “What researchers did observe are changes in gene expression, which is how your body reacts to your environment. This likely is within the range for humans under stress, such as mountain climbing or SCUBA diving.”

I suspect that talk would go something like ...

Turgidson: Doctor, you mentioned the ratio of ten women to each man. Now, wouldn't that necessitate the abandonment of the so-called monogamous sexual relationship, I mean, as far as men were concerned?
Dr. Strangelove: Regrettably, yes. But it is, you know, a sacrifice required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious...service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature.
