Call me "Old School" as far as Astro announcers go, but, I can't stand Milo Hamilton. Drayton got rid of one of the best announcers in the game in Gene Elston (said he was too boring) and brought in Milo.

Living in Pa., my only access to Astro games is an occasional ESPN game, WTBS,WGN and the Internet. I get the impression that if Milo or Ashby didn't have press guides, they wouldn't know any of the players names. They are the worst radio announcers I have heard.

Wasn't Elston gone before Drayton even bought the team? I don't remember, but I thought McMullen got rid of him. And as far as "Old School", geez man Milo's changed Moses' diapers didn't he? [IMG]
