I had to take Deshaun out of the equation, but for me it has to be Lamm and Martin. These are projected to be 2 starters on our offensive line that have limited or no tape going against 1s. Coming behind them has to be the incoming rookies Cunningham and Foreman. Thoughts?

OL and secondary are big with the losses there.

    Also does Watt look healthy?

Can Foreman take some of the load of Miller?

    Has Braxton developed?

    Savage
    Braxton, Mccarron, Wendall
    Foreman, Ervin

    Ankou, Watkins
    Cunningham, Dylan Cole, Dayon Pratt
Denzel Rice, Marcus Roberson, Dee Virgin, KJ Dillon

Offensive line will definitely be a huge area to look at but there's not much thrown at them especially week 1 in preseason. Hopefully Martin, Lamm, Allen and all those guys look as good as camp reports have stated. Has anyone seen pictures of XSF? Guy blew up. In a bad way, not expecting much out of him after adding more bad weight.

The most important battle is at the kicker spot. I'm pulling for the samoan kid.

Definitely Johnson....also Fredrickson and Carlson. I have faith that Dorfman is going to work out, anyway...so not as concerned about him. Fletcher is the t***, so that's all good.

Honestly, I loathe preseason football. Other than the 3rd game of the preseason, I could not care less. Love the Texans, but preseason football bores the pants off of me.

My eye will be on the offensive line. This is the key to team success. Also, let's see if Watt is fully recovered or just a shadow of his former self. I have back problems and used to be athletic. My motion is now severely restricted. Even everyday activities are hard.

Did they even bring in another punter to give his leg a rest during camp or is he out there by himself?

OL (RT and LT will be crucial with Brown sitting on his ass at home) - Lamm, Davenport, Allen, Giacomini, and Martin.
DB (Health and depth at CB and Safeties) - Johnson, Nelson, DeCoud, Gilchrist, Drummond and Dillion.
WR (New #2 and who's our best slot?) - Strong, Miller, Williams, McCarron, and others.
RB (Who's #2?) - Foreman and scat backs unleashed.
QBs (How comfortable do they look and are they making plays)
LBs (Is Scarlett the starter at OLB or does someone else emerge; What can Cunningham and Cole contribute as rookies)
DL (Are these guys healthy? Is Reader going to next level and can Watkins contribute?)
ST (Can we build a consistent return game? Can we stop opponent's returns?)

Amazing (and pathetic) that '16 Martin didn't even make the first preseason game.

Huge addition if he's above average.

Foreman- mostly because I want to see what he can do in goaline situations

    All WRs- who's stepping up

Martin & Davenport- possible future leaders on the OL

Scarlett/Cunningham/Cole- who's the next man up

KJ & Decoud- KJ coming off injury and I'm hoping Decoud is decent because I like tall dbs (6'2). Also safety battles.

Reader & Watkins- Can Reader hold down the middle and how far off is Watkins

If only for one drive, I want to see Clowney and Watt together, although, they wont do much, so we would have to wait to for week 1 in september to really see the impact with those two healthy.

Foreman, to see just how slow he is versus NFL competition (not garbage run-and-shoot teams like Tech and Baylor). It should be a crime to waste high draft picks on "skill" players like Rick Smith does.
