Superstar- about productivity and the "household" name effect. Might not be the best players but most morons that are casual NBA fans probably few the list like this...
    Melo
    Durant
    Lebron
    Wade
    Kobe
    Cp3
    Griffin
    Howard
    D rose
    Nash
    Dirk

    borderlines
    paul pierce
    parker
    harden
    Bosh

Theres more than 10 I think.

    Lebron
    Durant
    Kobe
    Carmelo
    Paul
    Harden
    Howard
    Love
    Kyrie
    Westbrook
    Rose

That's no perticular order, except LJ at one.

You could probably separate those into two different groups.

    Legends:
    Lebron
    Durant
    Kobe
    Paul (maybe)

    Superstars:
    Melo
    Harden
    Love
    Howard
    Kyrie
    Westbrook
    Rose

No, I think Popovich and Parker carry them. Duncan is still capable but they no longer live on his shoulders.

Seriously Love only in his 5th season. Injuries this season so take that out.
I presume you give his pass on rookie season.

His other 3 season I say 2 have been elite.
    pt reb
    14 11 (Good)
    20.2 15.3 (Elite) PER = 24.3
    26.0 13.3 (Elite) PER = 25.4

    Playoff appearances - 0

The guy is a stat stuffing machine, at times to the detriment to his team. Just watch him. He'll leave his man open over and over to stay under the post and gobble up rebounds. He doesn't care if the team gets burned as long as he gets his numbers. He plays NO HELP D. He also gets peeved whenever a teammate gets a 50-50 rebound next to him.

If we're talking true superstars that are still superstars.

Lebron, Durant and Paul. That's it.

A lot of all-stars in the league, but true superstars are quite rare, really.

If you are going to pick a Knick, pick Chandler, not Chuckthony.

Anyone who excludes Duncan should have their posting privileges revoked.

You guys are crazy for saying Harden is a superstar already.

LeBron, CP3, Durant, Kobe, Rose, Carmelo.

Do you consider Zach Randolph to be a superstar? David Lee? Al Jefferson? Boozer? Horford? Blake Griffin?

Those guys are all statistically comparable to Duncan this year.
