What this should tell you is that while Max was a chucker, he at least had a coach that kept him from being as bad as Ariza is shooting now. This is just crazy, 27 games without going over .500 ?!??!?!
No, Ariza is awesome on defense and unlike some crazy mofo's here, I'm not even suggesting he shouldn't start! I'm saying, he needs to be kept in check, those contested and early in the shot clock threes are just stupid. You and all the others who think it's just the player, you really do not understand basketball. When you're coach allows you to shoot and keep you in the game regardless, tells you to keep shooting even though they are bad shots, you will keep taking them! When your coach gets on you, starts to tell you to stop taking those dumb shots and things of that nature, you bet your ass a guy will change his shot selection!

While Ariza is shooting poorly right now, most of his shots are from 3 so being under 50% isnt as bad as you would normaly think.
Maxwell came up big for us in the playoffs. We're talking about the regular season here. Hopefully this will be an indication that Ariza will come up big for us in the playoffs!
