i think that's his goal. why else would he always post unnecessary emoticons? it's always the embarrassed one too like he's unconsciously ashamed of his own thoughts

This just may be the catalyst that gets him benched for Ben Tate.

Didn't Watt deliver pizza when he wasn't playing football?

Because I don't know how anybody would have time for a job when they are a college football player.

My brother plays college baseball and there is no way he would have time for a part time job.

Don't know why all the hate for Foster all of a sudden. Maybe he embellished a bit to get his point across, but he's right, the system is broken. Universities are making loads of money off students athletes that don't see a dime of it.

All of a sudden he's not allowed to speak his mind?

College football teams are only allowed to spend 20 hours/week with their players for practice, film study, etc. NCAA rules. Naturally, many players put in more time with individual study/weight training.

I was a music major in college. I put in 50+ hours/week on my horn and still did 20 hours of work study in addition to regular academics. I didn't have much free time, but that was the price I paid to get good at my craft while having a part time job.

Between all the drinking and intra-mural sports, I barely had time for anything.

So I know where these athletes are coming from.

They have to maintain MINIMUM academic standards. Academic scholarship students have to keep pretty high gpas.

And you are kidding yourself if you think football players ever go to class.

but cafeteria isn't open 24/7. What if it's 12 at night and you are hungry, you don't have any money to get something to eat...

    Wut?

It's not like Arian Foster was an UNDRAFTED FREE AGENT who 99% of the time are ****ed. They have basically a huge probability of not getting anywhere.

Football players do go to class. I went to LSU, and I have had football players in many of my classes.

A lot of them joke around and don't seem to take it too seriously, but they do go to class.

They get free tutoring and the professors probably take it easy on them as far as grading goes, but they do show up.

Players never went to class at Colorado. Basketball team always did, but football players NEVER did

Ridiculous to see the negativity around here about what he said. We all know it happens everywhere with everyone, but because Arian actually admits to it we should be down on him? Ridiculous.

Plus, these guys should be allowed to make money from their football skills in some way. If it comes in the form of late night Taco Bell tacos, then so be it.
