Maybe in the sense that he'd make Harden look like a lockdown defender in comparison.

Makes Corey Brewer look like a good 3pt shooter. ;)

Goodwin is only 22. Can create his own shot. He scored 20-plus points eight times in 2015-16 when he had an opportunity to play. I trust Jeff Bzdelik to create some resemblance of team defense.

I'm thinking we got this covered with Eric Gordon.

Neither can shoot. However, Goodwin is only 22, Brewer is 30. Goodwin can handle, slash, score at will... Brewer can't do none of that :)

Eric Gordon has not played more than 65 games in 8 years.

    no. can be misleading :

Patrick shot 40% 3s, b/c he was left open , opponents can live with his 9-10 pt while doubling Harden
as for Gordon , Goodwin can be a complimentary player that balance his lack of size .
he might not stop Curry but at least ,he can slow Livingston

No chance someone doesn't pick him off waivers.

What about Kendall Marshall? Since we like our ball handlers playing no D.

It has come down to this, LOL. Scratching and hoping that you sign some reject.

Career .227 three-point shooter with a sub .500 true shooting percentage.

No, thanks. Not in this system.

Ennis isnt good enough, we need to do something. In fact most of our team isnt good enough. Id keep an eye on Denver, if Chandler can stay healthy they are going to have gallinari and himself at SF. I highly doubt either will accept the bench.

He has attitude and work ethic issues but at least out of all the players in the waivers he's the one with the most untapped potential. One can hope this was a wake up call for him.

Agreed. We desperately need someone besides Harden and Gordon that create their own shot off the dribble. Memphis exposed a great weakness in our team with their trapping defense. When we go to the bench with Harden and Gordon starting we are in trouble. I watched Goodwin a lot towards the end of last season. His potential is through the roof. His attitude issues seemingly resulted from not having regular minutes for three years. D'Antoni and his system would do wonders for this kid.
