It stinks! You trade a 20pt game PF that plays 80 games a season for a 20pt SG that plays 50-60 games a season.
I didn't see the landry part. I don't know what to think. Man screw this trade. What happened to loyalty.
To be honest, it's a risky trade. We may have to go through the same injury-prone swingman ordeal for a few years. This trade may kill us. I don't agree with makign it at all. BUT... it is risky and I have been on Morey to take risks. He's played a risk-averse game since day 1, and I was beginning to wonder if he would ever have the risk appetite it takes to win a championship. So even if this trade ends up blowing, I'm happy that Morey had the balls to pull the trigger on it. I would like to see teams double-teaming Yao in the post while Brooks and Martin shoot LIGHTS out.
LOL @ you people crying over Carl Landry. The guy is a bench player who has already hit his ceiling. You need dynamic scorers to win playoff games, Kevin Martin is just that... the big key is if he can stay healthy. But it's a risk Morey had to take, Carl is just a very good role player and nothing more. Houston also gets an intriguing prospect in Sergio Rodriguez, who will probably come in more handy than Lowry.
he should apologies to us.. he fail us this time around!.. WE CAN never find a CARL LANDRY ever again.. SCOLA is aging.. who is the F&*^k is HILTON (Guy)?
Seriously. Do Not Want. Another ****ing injury-prone, low-percentage 2 guard for one of the most promising power forwards in the league? To hell with Daryl Morey if this happens.
To be fair, all the players coming to Houston except K Mart are expiring contracts. That means we may still able to get a good free agent or do a sign and trade this summer.
Dude, that 180 was QUICK. Better check your neck for whiplash. I'm cool with the trade. It looks like it still hits Morey's philosophy without compromising for Jeffries-esque poison.
