[AP] Praising the Houston Rockets before their 20-game winning streak ends

Interesting, the title of the article talks about praising the Houston Rockets. Yet, after reading the content, I did not find any praise for the Houston Rockets. Wonder what's with the disconnect.

Anyway, yeah, 20 games in a row is just luck. Having a record above .500 is luck too. Competing in the tough western conference and finding yourself atop the SW division is mostly accomplished through luck too.

 

Not make the playoffs? Anyone that thinks that Denver even has a chance of making the playoffs is crazy. And that has nothing to do with the Rockets.

This guy is just trying to draw attention. He knows all of us Rockets fans are doing nothing but spending time looking about stuff that talks about the Rockets. So gets his ratings up by saying stupid things. He is pulling a Barkley.

 

Looks like he corrected it. Ass.

I managed to make it through this dreck, but this is the topper. This d-bag writer is saying that the Rockets won't make the playoffs (despite being the second seed with less than 20 games to play), and if by some miracle they do they won't win a first round matchup no matter who they play. Someone needs to find T-Mac's and Rick's email addresses and send this to them. I'm sure this wouldn't motivate the team (even more so than they already are) at all.

 

Yeah it does look like someone called him on it. What a hack. Who doesn't check their facts before they send in their article?

Just frustrating.

I find it funny that he says we've won 20 in a row...tells us that we've won 12 of those with Yao...and 7 of those without Yao. Great math buddy.

As mentioned, I cant believe he thinks we wouldnt make the playoffs. Common sense says otherwise.

And lastly, its really annoying when people mention the fact that we had an easy schedule. He also states that during the win streak, only 8 of those teams were above .500. How is that weak? I understand that we havent had our plates full with elite teams, but come on...

This guys sucks.

Like I said, the media only follows the popular bandwagon teams like the Lakers, Suns, Celtics, etc. Its funny how some people call us a bunch of bandwagoners-yeah, like ESPN doesn't bandwagon and pratically every media outlets ride the Lakers bandwagon more than they do their own car (bad joke?).

It also annoys me how they say our schedule is too soft, while the Lakers can't even win half of our streak with an even worse schedule, with the opponents' combined record in the 20s (percentage-wise), compared with ours, which is in the 40s.

 

Its ridiculous! We played 20 teams. They did not beat us. They want to mention the "only" 8 "winning" teams, who along w/ the "losing teams", still COULD NOT BEAT US!!! All it takes is for one of those supposed "winning teams" to beat us, JUST ONE, and our streak would not be at 20. We demolished all of them. Screw all these idiots. F' em all
