Just want to know... Now that we're all having so much fun with this lottery idea, where are all the people who tried to flame me off this BBS when I predicted that the Rockets would be a lottery team this year??? I would love to hear from you all. Let's see, who did I say would be better than the Rockets this year, only to have most of you laugh in my face, call me names, and generally give me hell?? But, by now, I'm sure most of those who lashed out at me are all on the lottery bandwagon and probably think that they knew all along. Wouldn't surprise me in the least. Hey, I'm just making the point that there's no use in flaming someone just because his opinion isn't something that you like. As far as predicting the injuries to Chuck and Dream... Considering their age I was already taking that into consideration - that those guys would not be in the line up together at least half the year. I don't think Massenburg would have made that much of a difference. Little did I know that Hakeem, even when healthy, would unfortunately be playing like a scrub. But, shoot, even with Barkley and Hakeem, we were still under .500. The lowest seed in the West is Minnesota and they are pretty far over .500. In fact, one of my reasonings for picking the Rockets so low was the fact that the West is so deep. In the East, the Rockets would probably be competing for the 6th or 7th seed right now <grin>. ------------------

I must take a diferent approach on this post, I can understand what the axe dude is saying and that is that he was insulted just because his post was not a popular one , ok so some people want everything to be cheery and bright in rockets land but this season that has not been the case , anyways , he was right and some people were wrong but does that warrant the axeman comming back and throw that in some peoples faces ? I guess that is his perogative , as they say to each his own ! ------------------ Please give us an excuse to party on Richmond street once again!

Axe- I think if you were psychic enough to predict the injuries to CB, Dream, T-Mass, etc then I want to hire you as my stock broker! However I still think if CB/Dream were healthy we would still be fighting for a 5-6 seed in the West. ------------------
