    It wasn't even about concerns of him being banned. The thread title was getting people really mad for making them so excited and then a gotcha opening post. My post was an attempt to convince the OP to end the joke by editing the title so no one else gets burned by his Fake News click bait title.

    He changed it in 5 minutes, or less. But more copycats popped up.

    The second and third threads I didn't bother trying, but I guess they read my editing instructions to the first guy.

    Yesterday I was considering making a "Official Carmelo Anthony Thread Fallout Shelter Thread" as a joke but I thought otherwise because I was certain Clutch was going to clean everything up soon. Did it later than I hoped, but it's still appreciated.

    In the evening, random posters were coming out of the woodwork and starting one absurd thread after another.
    "Melo to Lakers!"
    "Melo signs with Rockets!"
    "Fake Woj Account"
    "Carmelo Has Ties to Putin!"
    "May I wield the banhammer?"
    "User nominated moderator contest"

    Etc. It was like a contest to see who could out-do each other in annoyance factor. And most people were logging on to check news so every thread was ballooning to 4-6 pages of useless banter in just a few minutes.

    Clutchfans went FULL r****d like I've rarely seen. Thanks, Moray!
