Yes. I have. Reynosa's downtown area is jam packed with good ones. Go here: http://goo.gl/maps/udzm0 . Tell them you know someone in Houston that used to work there sent you. They'll know. The dentist there has been there for about 40 years and she's good.
Happy Ending good or dentist good? OP, check out mexicandentalvacation.com I've never used it but I've heard good things.
Wisdom teeth? Got mine pulled in South Korea by Dentist students (saved my mother over a thousand of dollars). Let's just say.... they had a very ****ing hard time getting those hoes out.
I've gone to the dentist in Mexico. The best experience in my life. And now my friends and family go to the dentist there biannually.
They are good that's for sure. It is all the same at a much lower cost. Dentist in Mexico don't have the cutting edge tools like U.S. for example U.S. may use a curing light that reduces time by 10 seconds vs Mexico who still has to wait a full 50 seconds. That is only an example take it for what it's worth. I just got back from Mexico and had a teeth cleaning, and filling. They used white composite filling and matched my tooth color no problem for 250 pesos, roughly $24.50. Now compare that to a dentist in the states who charged my $64.50 with insurance and it was an amalgam (silver filling) and I had to take an x-ray (so they could bill the insurance) which I didn't need!
Grew up on the border, both myself and my mom had lots of work done in Mexico. Never any issues, great service and definitely cheaper. Haven't been across the border in at least 6 years though, kinda sketched out with the whole drug cartel battles.
A friend of mine went. He got major surgery work done. All was fine until he started crapping out balloons of coke wich were then collected by a very nice lawncare specialist named Ramiro. True story.
