Say like for Court fee if you pleaded guilty to a crime and you owed certain $$ Amount. You set up a payment plan but you cant afford to pay these payments? They send you to A debt collector right? and what happens they try to ruin your credit and do you actually get a warrant out for your arrest?, if you dont pay the money owed or do you just get your licenses revoked? This is after of course youve served jail and not on probation of course, and being first time offense.

Kinda just trying to figure this out cause buddy mine has fines he cant afford, and first time breaking law.

Confused cause ive heard of small misdemeanors like he has, where people have had owed money to the courts, but forgot about them 5 years later they remember they had that **** on there record and they looked it up. But how after 5 years they never had there licences revoked but it just said something like Warrant issued but nothing really happen then it had double the fine or something like that. I assume they get you on a random licence punch in or later down the road when they stop you for something stupid right like a interfering with the state of texas licence plate with a sports decal or failure to use blinkers to look to see if you have any outstanding warrants.

    You can go to jail.

I got arrested for an assault, did jail time and got time served and agreed to a fine. Never paid the fine.

Moved to Vegas. Moved back to Houston after about 7-8 years later and got pulled over.

Shockingly, I had a warrant and went to jail for it. Got time served after about 3 days or so.

Short answer is will become capias pro fines, and warrant will likely come out for your arrest. When that happens you either hav to pay balance in full, or sit it out (unless any of it is restitution), or some combination of the two

But what did you plea to, and in whch court system, which county/district court, and are you on probation, or was it something minor, Jp or municipal court level (misd c). They really don’t want to lock you back up, unless you force them.

My friend got a Dui Misd B Montgomery County, Had his licenses suspended for 90 days for blowing. But then there a pleading guilty 90 day suspension he told me because he pleaded Guilty to the Dui. So he told me hes got to pay for a SR-22 high risk insurance fine or something? Anyways im assuming probabtion is when you have to pay out the Court cost right? I think he doesnt have one but just got 3 days in jail and court cost, which he told me he already did the jail. He already lost his job, he just asked me cause he was confused about everything he text me about it. Ive had to lend him money hehe

Yeah this guy is definitely going back to jail, even if you're paying his fees.

Yes you can be arrested for not paying fees. I imagine the fees are included in probation and the officer pays the court but you’d have to check. If that’s the case he’s probably not going to pay the probation officer for either his services or the court costs so he’s probably getting arrested again. Presuming based on your comments...
