I'm a big fan of her, I have to admit. This show might be the closest Netflix ever comes to Real Time with Bill Maher. Her show might be on the level of The Late Show starring Joan Rivers back in the day.
I don't know man the chick is going for blood. She really is. And she's doing in such a sophisticated way. Nobody says the s*** that she says except for maybe Bill Maher. The chick told the NFL cool it with the instant replays. Just get Refs with good eyes and can make the right call. And once you have refs with good eyes and who can make the right call see if they maybe want to be police officers. That's some cold as s*** right there.
I have been watching it. Her voice is painful to listen to and her delivery is spotty at best, but her actual material absolutely kills.
Granted I only watched the first episode but it seemed like she was trying too had to be edgy while pretending not to try very hard. It was weird. I think Hannibal Buress regretted being there as soon as they both sat down. That ending with the raccoon stuck to the back of her shirt was cringe worthy.
I can barely sit through the multitude of other better fake-not-fake news shows that use Trump as low hanging fruit to masquerade entertainment as political action.
I kind of wish some other poster had started the thread; because I think she's terrific. All the best parts of Silverman and Schumer, and some allusions to Bamford with the fake voice. I don't really care about the show as it's kind of redundant format, but it's not the late '80s/early '90s anymore so you can't just give hot comedians random pilots and fall ass backwards into a Roseanne, Home Improvement, Full House, Mad About You or Night Court.
Her show is hilarious. Sometimes the jokes fall flat but it's because she will flub a line here and there. But overall it's a great show. She should put Klepper on a couple of episodes.
Anybody else waiting for the original post to call Michelle Wolf sexy and sneaky hot? Seemed like a @what (?!???) move...
