Do you think Adelman can handle Carmelo Anthony? Adelman tends to rely on his players to act like adults and pros. It works to some extent: Artest liked him but never reign in his wild offense. But TMac and Wafer clashed with him.

Melo has the reputation to be a pre-Madonna diva type. He has had hard coaches like Karl and Bzdelik in Denver. How will Adelman's softer touch work with him?

I didn't know Melo was a Rocket already. Yay!

And when did Tmac clash with Adelman? His broken knee clashed with Adelman. Also Wafer clashed with Adelman so much he was made the 6th man.

Tmac and Wafer clashed with everybody didn't they? Are you asking if Adelman can do what no other coach could do ?

Dont know honestly. Know alot about Mellows game. Not his whole character. Thats mostly a thing the Nuggets fans would know real well as its in their boards and forums everyday and on the news. For him what i see from afar. Personally i have seen tremendous growth over the last few years. Which makes me ok with this deal where I wouldnt have perhaps 3 to 4 years ago. He is married now which shows some steps towards responsibility. We are catching him at a time in his life growing into a adult after he came out as a College star that had most of his story and background of anything negatives within these years before Chauncey Billups showed up and before he evolved. To me thats a great opportunity for us to get him now. Of course if he decides ultimately that his career needs to be in California or New York area for purely entertainment reasons? That would say something else? I wouldnt have to worry about it though unless that decision came. Knicks i can understand to an extent for his lifestyle and needs all around. Knicks dont have any assets though and wont be a winner to join. Rockets are the team that makes sense of all these teams.

Even an old guy like Adelman can get hard on a guy like Anthony. Will anthony act to make Adelman hard, is the real question.
