Starks is no Hornacek. This is the beginning of the end for the Jazz [IMG]

I really hope that Starks helps the Jazz make it to the playoffs, or damn close.

I do not want the Jazz to get a high draft pick. But I will be extremely happy when the Jazz lose Malone and Stockton and have to rely solely on a high schooler.

As much as I HATE the Jazz, it's a pretty good signing....

Starks is a savvy veteran (yes.. he can't shoot) - but he plays sensibly and is able to provide an experienced head to give advice to DeShawn. I think that the Jazz picked him up to groom Stevenson for the starters job 1/2 way through the season. Starks would be a decent 6th man - he provides some offense which is DEFINITELY something the Jazz missed off the bench last year.

If the damned Jazz get Danny Manning too then they may be a force this year (although I HOPE not!!!) - I'd just like to see Malone miss the season through injury, he's well overdue for a big one!!

I HATE THE JAZZ!but as i see it there going to be better than last year. All they did was lose jeff and gain Deshawn who looks like he is going to be a steal. If they do pick up manning ther bench would be as strong as almost anyones.

    I HATE THE JAZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's no way the Jazz are going to be a force next season.
They could barely make it into the postseason last year, even though they did have a decent record.
The Jazz are old, real old. We've been saying that for a while now, but these guys are closing in on the age where they won't be able to face the physical challenge the NBA provides.
It's unbelieveable they made it without Anderson last season, and if they lose Eisley they're done. We're going to have to find ourselves another team to hate [IMG]

Oh, wait. We already have Quitten...

As much as I hate the Jazz, I've always been envious of their FG%, but with Starks (37%) and possibly Manning (41%) joining the fray, I can't stop smiling. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Stevenson wont be able to contribute much next season. Plus he will want to leave as soon as he sees there is nothing to do in that sh!tty city.

    I HATE THE JAZZHOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They still might lose Eisley (Raptors) and Vaughn (Celtics).

I can't see the Jazz as being any worse off than last year (as much as I hate to say it). All they've done is take away Hornacek and add Stevenson, Starks, and possibly Manning. Those bastards hav lucked out again, but alas, their time is coming. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I think people underestimate Jeff Honacek
He was one of my fAv s on their team

Becuase he was a garbage man.
He didn't say much . . and hustled
    for everything he got
    and had uncanny shooting ability.

    THEY WILL MISS HIM ALOT
[those falling out of bounds unbalanced
3's he use to hit bailing them out of
    bad possessions.]
