Creating a thread to stoke fear that evil black men are coming to rape your white women is kinda racist actually. I have a daughter. I don’t discriminate. I worry about creeps of all races and hold her hand as tight as I can when we are in public regardless if it’s walking downtown Houston, of walking around the town center in the Woodlands.
If the races were reversed and the kidnapper were white and the victim black would the media focus on the racial angle?
Unless there was a specific racial intent, I doubt it. Media I have seen isn't focusing on this particular crime being racially motivated.
I beg to differ. There are a couple of issues. Hate crimes are a hot button topic. Secondly normal random white on black crime like robbery is lot more rare than black on white crime so when whites commit crimes against blacks the race angle is is likely to come into play
