dailythunder Royce Young Oklahoma City trades Byron Mullens to Charlotte for a second-round pick. 38 minutes ago dailythunder Royce Young @russbengtson Best part is, Mullens wasn't enough. OKC had to throw in cash. Woo! 28 minutes ago
" 2009 draft ...? You couldn't call me up, Presti? " I guess that's Perfect Presti's Joey Dorsey/Jermaine Taylor move.
Hard to be a bust when you are drafted #24. This trade is basically OKC buying next year's top 2nd round draft choice from Charlotte (#31 pick). I like the move for OKC and Mullens might actually get playing time on the Bobcats.
Great trade by Oklahoma City. They get a nice 2nd rounder in return for a late 1st round bust. That's the way to cover up your mistakes.
LOL from the ESPN article: "Charlotte's bringing him in to fill the void left by Kwame Brown." LOL never thought I'd here anyone say that except an accountant for a buffet in DC.
Yeah, ignore that. It had made sense in my head, but then it didn't look right when I typed it. There's a thread I just made that's the same way. I think I'll log off now.
Noone ever talked about Mullens that much I think it was calculated risk, right assessment as a project
