Voltron is just wearing thin. Waiting on the next Castlevania Will there be more AJIN . . .I really like that one Rocket River
Started watching Black Clover. No idea why I didn’t watch before. I like it quite a bit. Filler is the big knock I guess. That doesn’t bother me at all though so whatever. I guess the other knock is that it’s too cliche. That also doesn’t bother me. Fairy Tail final season is finally out. Pretty boring so far but it’ll build up nicely I’m sure. This season is pretty stacked. A large number of the big hitters have new episodes. Less serious ones I’m watching atm: Finally a new season of Ace Attorney Run with the Wind - looks to be the new good sports anime
Anybody watching SSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.Gridman? Black Clover did not start well at all. A lot of people dropped it after 3 episodes (myself included). BC got a lot of hate from the community. Now those same people that said it was trash are trying to get people to start watching again after 50+ episodes. I don't know if I want to catch up to find out..
Idk. I thought the first few episodes were honestly the most cliche thing ever. I think I’ve seen a similar story the first few episodes gave in at least three other anime. But it didn’t matter to me. I wanted to see what would happen later. I had zero expectations going into it. I think it’s a solid show. I think it did start off slow though.
That's the key. BC was touted as the next great Anime in the same vein as One Piece, Dragon ball, Bleach, Naruto. Expectations were way too high.
Right. I think same studio that did Naruto. Anyway it’s clearly one of the better shounen anime out right now. The fight scenes are insane. Like ridiculously good.
I was really feeling Ajin until they got into what the main antagonist’s true motivations were...I’m sitting there like “y’all really didn’t just do that...”
Black lover is entertaining. Not very original but the action and characters are interesting enough to watch. Mindless shounen action
I've been trying to watch this (I'm about 6 episodes in) and I can't get over how shitty of a person Okabe is. Does him being an extreme ******* to his colleagues ever die down? If not, I'm probably just gonna drop it.
If you consider the way he acts being an *******, then yes you should drop it. The loud part of his personality dies down in the second half, but that loud personality is also what most of the series fans consider one of its greatest strengths. Clearly you don't care for it though.
To the Black Clover fans: How the hell do you get past that annoying raspy, always too loud yelling of Asta?
Well it really is sort of like a cross between Bleach and Naruto. The main character is sort of like Naruto but it has squads and captains like Bleach and there is a Sasuke-like friend/rival who is just as aloof but less dark.
50+ episodes in and we still have zero clue what that 5 leaf clover means, only that it's "demon related". I wish they'd elaborate a bit more. I'm losing interest.
started watching Black Clover due to it being mentioned on here...halfway through the 1st episode I was already annoyed with this Asta character settle your ass down dude, damn...
Yeah, BC takes all the best stuff from your favorite shonen anime and puts it in one. That was one things some people didn't like; some fans thinks it's too derivative.
Maybe a year ago I've checked the first episode of this 'Castlevania' on Netflix and dropped it. It didn't really grab me. Is it good?
