I'm a little late to the party but I have to agree -- Made in Abyss is a masterpiece. I've never had an anime that truly let my imagination go wild about the unknown with a mixture of fear and awe.

so I just started watching Attack on Titan, and well damn, it’s pretty good

Parasyte, Death Note, and Yu Yu Hakusho are my top 3, but YYH might need to make some room for AoT

I’m on episode 13 of S1...I didn’t think it would be this good, I’m really enjoying it so far

To be fair, Cowboy Bebop is a series of self contained episodes with a couple episodes of character development for each main character. You can probably watch 4 episodes and know everything you need to know about Spike and his story.

I felt like I was watching a bunch of filler with a lot of episodes doing nothing to advance any plot or storyline...I gave up at like episode 17, maybe I’ll finish it later

    this Attack on Titan tho

I hope S2 is as good as S1

No question, it's still worth watching tho if you're this into the show now, just to see how they pull it off or don't..!

I thought it was a successful season two. Big surprises. You're lucky you didn't have to wait 4 years to watch it like the rest of us. The crazy hype of the show was impacted by the long ass wait. No one talks about AOT like they did when it first debuted. Season two was kind of an after thought really.

The manga is starting to pick up in AoT. Felt like a few years of boring.

Hope the animators don't drag that part out with flashbacks

Do any of you keep up with the Berserk manga? Looks like Casca is finally going to have her mind right again

Interesting. I haven't routinely kept up with it in years because the release of chapters was so slow and irregular it was torture. I think I left off somewhere in volume 32-35-ish but truthfully can't remember anymore.

Is it still good? Maybe I'll try to figure out where I left off and read the rest... or just start over, haha.

The last couple of chapters have been pretty good, but yeah its still coming out at a glacial pace so it makes it tough to be that invested

    Overlord season 3 announced!!!!!!

Airing this summer so it's an extremely quick turnaround. Show quickly became one of my favorites when I finally started watching it and Madhouse is notorious for not giving 3rd seasons, I was sweating whether or not we would get one ever, much less this quickly.

The show must be doing very well.

I'm kinda stuck because the writer is an interesting world builder, but the current arc and the lizard p*rn before it was not the best use of madhouse time.

I peaked ahead and it seems worth the investment even if it's dragging like crazy. You just can't expect anything epic.
