Is Bogut gonna have "The Decision" airing on Australia Broadcasting later and that's why we're still talking about this? Who cares already.
After that 2nd quarter everyone saying we don't need bogut needs to go get a lesson in basketball 101.
Bogut is going to go to the Cavs. He realizes that it's a cakewalk to the Finals. If he's going to play the Warriors, it might as well be in the Finals.
Maybe, but it depends on really what kind of guy Bogut is. He may be saying that team really needs me. - Clint is too skinny to set a proper screen - Bev is there best defensive rebounder - Nene's not bad, but he needs some help against the bigger teams Maybe he wants to go where he could have the biggest difference and make the biggest impact. We certainly could use him for 20-24 mins a game against big teams and 16-20 against the other teams. His defensive rebounding would have made a big difference tonight.
Bogut going to the Cavs makes sense. He won't have to play much and will have a good shot at another ring. Sure, he will be giving up millions of dollars but Gilbert will probably make it up to him under the table anyway.
Check the rebounding stats for the last few games...we were had....missed rebounds equal: opposition scoring opportunities, missed shot opportunities for us and lost ball control for us! MOREY, kiss Bogut's butt if you have to but get us a BIG enforcement rebounder!
I thought we could survive with the bigs we already have but last night was an eye opening experience. Damn I absolutely hate how bad we need him.
Part of the reason I want him is just to shake the idea that players won't look at us as a contender.
Though, for the season, we are a better rebounding team (on both ends) than the Warriors. Our field goal defense stinks, though. While GSW is tops in the league. The fact is, our MVP is still a defensive seive which has a ripple effect on the entire team defense.
I'm 100% open to giving him the Jason Terry free pass. ....but if he passes on us, again, he's dead to me.
Harden has been good on defence this season, switching, taking charges....he wouldn't be top 15 in defensive win shares if he had not improved on that part of the court. Also the teams defence has improved a lot. Maybe you should keep an eye on Beverley and how easy point guards dribble past him or Ariza who has gone backwards in his defensive stops.
