Rockets offer was likely 18 and Lowry for #8, it's been covered. There was no way for us to have 4 first rounders. Lowry for #8 straight up was not an option.

Drummond worst case scenario = DeAndre Jordan; BCS= Dwight Howard

Either way he's going to be a great player

Toronto had to waste that 8th pick on a JAP like Ross; a player they could have gotten if they traded down.

At least we snagged Lamb at 12.

One thing he needs to work on is his free throw shooting. He shot under 30% in college and he's shooting 25% in preseason. This kind of free throw shooting is totally crippling, he will be taken advantage of if he can't pull it up to at least 50%, though 60% is ideal.

I’m so mad at Toronto for thinking they could get Nash and holding onto that pick. This guy is just an amazing physical specimen oozing with upside. I think he’ll not only become a great player, but a lot earlier than many expected. I think he was hurt a lot by UConn’s dysfunctional situation last year, just like Lamb was. I would have loved to see what McHale could've done with him, getting his hands on him at just 19 years old.

Dude is always active on the offensive glass, and his Defense is good.

With Monroe and Drummond Pistons might have the best front court in the NBA in a few years.

Drummond will be the best player in this draft.

Losing Jones would be tough, but I would have really liked a haul of Drummond, Lamb, and White. The Rockets would have depth at both C and PF. I see Drummond as more a defensive presence than offensive, but he would fit nicely with Rockets plans to run and play defense.

I think they will if they gel together. The Pistons never seem to have a problem attracting guys and have a long and successful history- it's mainly the new small market teams that have problems.

All the Pistons need is a young wingman to go with Knight, Monroe, and Drummond and they'll have a solid team.

The current NBA = rookie will be with his initial team for about 7-8 years before he can think about leaving. (Can certainly start whining to the media like Carmelo before hand though.)

We got completely screwed by Toronto, I don't know why they were such p*****s

They could've gotten Ross with our 12th pick and Lowry

Nothing changed the length of contracts in the new CBA. The only thing now is that th original team can give max contracts sooner (D.Rose rule) and that the original team can give extra years.
