Can't we all just get along? [IMG] Anyway, as I stated in another thread, someone called up the Section 610 show with Rich Lord and made the same statement about Anderson. He also said that there would be a press conference at 10:00am tomorrow morning. Rich asked him to identify himself and he abruptly hung up. So you can basically take this with a grain of salt, but there are guys out there who at least think they know something is happening tomorrow.

I've said nothing personal so don't get personal. Just trying to stand in your corner and help you out. In the future I'll just jump down your throat like everyone else. [IMG]

PS--i didn't mean to offend you.

Sounds good B-Ball freak. Finding out that Shandon Anderson is going to be a Rocket would be a good way to start out my birthday.

    Hey Jeff,

I am just trying to have fun here. I didn't realize that this would have the gravity of a debate on Post-Cold War Economics. I mean we are talking about guys playing a game here.I could be mistaken, but I thought you were jumping down my throat. (hence, the defensive manuever......whooo-aaaah--look out now) Anyway, I do have a source (not the kind that can get me speculation on maneuvers that the front office might be considering, but stuff that will go down in a day or two -done deals-). I know this will go down. Love it!

LOL!! I just wanted to be sure YOU knew it was a game.

BTW--I hate Post Cold War Economics. I prefer the economics of modern agrarian societies. [IMG]

Shut up if you just have a prediction, a rumor made up by a "source" is better than a personal prediction. I predict Tim Ducan would be traded to the Rockets next week, how is that?

What if there is no press conference tomorrow, are you gonna eat your words and admit you are full of ****? probably not, so have a lil respect towards the site and others.

BTW, I suggest a better topic for you, how about "God appeared in my dream last night and told me that the Rockets are gonna win the next championship." Sounds a whole lot better to me. Wouldn't God be the best source?

This forum is all about speculation, get a grip. Don't complain about getting tired of all the speculation.

Go to hell with your source, from all I read about you sound the fishest among all the guys claiming they have a source.

Even though you were right, you should at least have changed your statement from "i have a prediction". That makes us think you are just some guy giving his opinion. The least you could have done would have been to say it is going to happen, not you think it is. How about that.

Boy am i glad that i didn't post anything in here saying anything stupid! How does your foot taste final fantasy? Since I am sure that its stuck in your mouth after those threating posts. I thought this thred was also gonna be deleted too? Guess not. Now I know clutch is gonna say that I am kicking people's faces to the curb, but this brutal attack on this post was kinda absurd. Next time people wanna bash someone for posting something... just take a deep breath and relax... this is a BBS, not a meeting of executives here talking about business. We're all Rox fans here so lets stop kiling people's threads.

You guys have seen me post here quite alot and to tell you all the truth I respect everyone (or at least I try to) but some of you guys just took it a little bit too far and should be ashamed of yourselfs.... so the guy just posted it wrong... might have gone about it a little wrong but there was no excuse whatsoever in becomming hostile and totally out of hand ! If I would have posted one of those ugly hostile post at least I would write an apology ! Be a man and apologize .....swallow your pride for once folks !

no apologies necessary. i just think that some people take this business a bit too seriously. as far as posting it wrong, is there such a thing? i gave a prediction, albeit an educated one, but to vote on deleting this post staggered me. are we really arguing semantics on something as casual as this? this was my first post, but i have been an avid reader and fan of this page so i know the protocol (or lack thereof). this was just the first time i felt like sharing info. i hope in the future i may share more info as i get it without everyone piling on (and almost everybody but a noble few did). my info will not be inspired by bskball.com or nbatalk, but on what is presented to me.

Hi B-Ball Freak, I also think that the attacks on your post were unnecessary. Obviously you were the first one to report the impending signing and press conference, so you actually DO seem to have a source. Since that's the case...can you give us some more insight on the Pippen situation? Thanks a lot!

Yesterday, in my "Everbody Chill" thread I commented on how the quality of posts were really bad recently. Well here is yet more proof. I just don't think personal attacks have a place in a legitemate public forum. And even though Clutch rocks, I remember back like a year and a half ago I thought of Clutch as a basketball genius. That's because he rarely posted and when he did he always had something really interesting to say. Now it seems like he's just another guy who makes a lot of judgements and mistakes. Clutch still rocks though.
Props to B-Ball Freak for the early call; you pulled a Popeye.

    Peace,

    -----------------
This probably means (well, OK, I'm guessing) that his source is someone involved in the logistics of setting up a press conference. So, as he says, he's not likely to hear anything about Pippen unless a deal is signed, sealed, and delivered.
