I wish, but you never know. I'm sure many teams will be after him.

Isn't he from TSU? What city/state is his home?

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw that. We'll probably be on the top of his list.

One thing to consider is that he'll be 32 next year and the Texans have said repeatedly that they don't want to sign any big money players over 30 in their first 2 or 3 years.

I thought that was just during the expansion draft? Regardless, it may not hurt to sign him for a year or two.

Strahan might be a stud player, but he's also being very selfish. A $16 million bonus isn't enough? So, since he can't squeeze an extra $4-9 million out of them, he's going to screw them over & not allow them to restructure his contract in order to pursue free agents.

I wouldn't hold your breath on the possibility of him coming here, unless he wants to sign a more reasonable contract. McNair's not a stupid business man & I would be shocked if he were to pay Strahan anywhere near that kind of money.

It may be selfish, but it's smart. I'd do the same thing in that situation.

Maybe he's trying to force a trade. Maybe he wants to be a Texan THAT BADLY....

He's a 4-3 end who just set the NFL sack record. Why in the world would he want to move to a team employing the 3-4? His sack totals would drop 50+% & he'd take much more of a pounding inside.

Maybe he's just a good football player who would like to come home? What more does he have to PROVE about being a sack specialist? Oh yeah, that last one was kind of suspect...

    Strahan attended Westbury HS.

He would not fit in the 3-4, unless he is willing to be a decoy for our blitzing OLBs.

A 16 million signing bonus outside of the QB posistion is excellent. This type of greed makes me sick:p
