(I posted it after the penalties. Because Russia to win it all has as many chances as we have to get Lebron...?) Bad metaphor I guess. I had no clue that the spaniards were the favourites in the first place.

LMM and Green capholds only count ~$1.47mill each in this scenario. I think Morey would look to move Nene into space, or include with Gordon in what Cleveland takes back. Cleveland might want ZQ too.

So... 1.8 million back for LMM/Green, .8 saved on ZQ hold, 3.7 on Nene going out, skip the MLE (5.4), the 1 mill under mentioned above. That's $12.7mill to offer Capela. Maybe you can talk LeBron into shaving a couple mill to improve the Capela offer.

Well I guess if these reports are true, LBJ hasn't told CP3 no yet...

He has ice in his veins. Lebron was probably taking to paul George about la, then when he thought they could get kawhi instead he just ignored him which led George to stay in okc.

Lebron May love Chris Paul but he would have no problem stringing him along on this

Why does the caphold matter? If we S&T for LBJ no matter what we can't exceed $129m. So LMM and Greens actual salaries would be all that matters.

But let's just entertain your scenario, minus the caphold discrepancy:

    CP3 - $35.6
    LBJ - $32.5
    Harden - $30.4
    Capela - $12
    Tucker - $8
    Green - $2.4
    LMM - $2.4
Melo...just to get the boat together - $2.4
    4 Roster Spots - $3.3

That's $129m exactly. Tough pull to keep Capela at that rate + LBJ leaves $3m. I'd think you'd have to use Capela and Gordon to make dumping everyone else possible.

In this scenario I think you’d need capela to take his qualifying offer or move him in the deal.

I’m not advocating it nor do I think it’s realistic, but conceivably you could make it work if capela took the qualifying offer or if you did a deal where he either walks or you trade him for lebron and then ryno and picks for dedmon.

Now they want us back in the convo when they realize lebron and the lakers with ball is a first round exit waiting to happen. no one's following the lebron trail.

yeah I agree I was just running the numbers for Sooner's scenario. I think if a S&T were possible it'd be more likely that Cap gets moved to make it happen. Makes the money under hard cap work and the salary dumping more possible.

Isn't this just the thing with the media where the Rockets are trying to get everyone?

LeDiva should be begging the Rockets; Rockets should not be begging LeDiva. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
