Off the court they are buddies for sure. Not the best ones but still okay. On the court - some friction as to how they play, sets or ISO........and MDA isn't helping.
With Clint gone and butler in I believe if morey can somehow get Looney who has unlimited potential with Harden and Paul off the pick and roll plus he is a terrific switch and interior defender we will be easily the favorite in the west. Paul Harden Butler Tucker Looney That team has 4 good defenders with a all time great scorer in harden and playmaker in Paul.
Looney would be my choice for a Capella replacement if traded to make room for JB. We could also go for the most hot headed line-up in the league. Paul Harden Butler Tucker Cousins (MLE) Hell add JR Smith and Lance Stevenson to the bench just for grins.
Surprised this thread isn't getting more burn. Amick seems to be Morey's go to and he has always been reliable when it comes to Rockets news. I am excited about this list of free agent targets so far. These are the exact players I was hoping we would target in addition to the stars. Some really good players on this list that would fit in well with the Rockets. Of course, other teams including their own will be looking to hand out stupid contracts to some of these guys but hopefully we can finagle 1 or 2.
PJ is the dude that keeps this team focused as one unit. He has that Mario Ellie factor to his mentality. Get J Tomball Buckets here with out losing PJ and if they can be healthy come play-off time it will be the best chance they can have to bring back the championship. Butler doesn't fear the pressure he thrives on the pressure. Personally I absolutely love EG, the cat has big heart and is a great guy BUT Butler is more talented and longer.
