This likely wouldn't be happening if the tech companies were allowing a level playing field for the free speech of all. The recent coordinated banning of Alex Jones and other conservatives was the straw that broke the camel's back and highlighted the need for government intervention.

Conservatives need to create their own platform for all their baseless conspiracy theories.

I know you don’t see it, but conservative media treats things differently.

The whole reason these guys were on the internet initially is because they weren't on TV. The whole reason things like HBO, Showtime etc. existed initially was because their content had an audience but wasn't deemed acceptable by the major broadcasters. You have no right to demand a private company platform carry whatever you choose to mention.

I feel conservatism has become radically different than the 90s.

Maybe it's because Clinton found appeal in moving some fiscal elements leftward.

    But...

Quotes like these really show how far radicalized the conservative message has become. AJ is as trashy and shameless as they come compared to the days of posting National Review or think tank blogs.

I like to believe normal minded cons don't think aj is one of them, even if he is legitimized by the blotus.

The thing is... If you talked about this a decade ago, the sides arguing for and against would likely flip. Speech rights is a sacred core to many Americans. Given the political support of one side for Manning, Assange(at one point) and Snowden the concentration of power held by tech is a visible threat for a free thinking and responsible society.

You sound like a socialist. What about free enterprise?

    What about Sinclair?

Corporations aren't responsible for your free speech rights. For people who ramble on about the Constitution, maybe you should read it.
