Most surprising hit show of the year. Can't wait for this season and what happens with the Butch-Supes dynamic!
First Photos: Stormfront In “The Boys” S2 I'll spoiler in case people don't want to see it..... Spoiler: Stormfront Amazon has debuted the first photos of actress Aya Cash as Stormfront in the second season of its superhero drama series “The Boys”. In the comics, Stormfront is a male white supremacist with weather-manipulating capabilities who is something of a pastiche of both Thor and Shazam With the TV series version though, expect something a little different with Cash saying “you start off this season thinking she’s one thing and then discover she’s another.” She can, however, match Homelander in terms of power and is “willing to challenge him”. She goes on to discuss her character and how she’ll impact the Seven: “I think Stormfront is like a nuclear bomb that goes off in the Seven. Maybe nuclear bomb isn’t the right word. We’re in Chernobyl. There you go. It’s a Chernobyl thing. I think she’s here to blow up Vought. She’s here to try to get Vought back to the original idea behind creating superheroes… And she can be quite the feminist. There’s a lot of, I wouldn’t say misdirect, but she also is a very empowered woman. She’s really social-media-savvy, where Homelander doesn’t really have anything to do with that. Someone else is always running his accounts. He’s almost like a Don Draper-era character and she’s very young and new and fresh, and that’s a massive challenge for him. There are quite a few times where you’ll identify with her as an audience member or agree with what she says. I think [those] are the most dangerous people.” The series stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as the Female, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Simon Pegg as Hughie’s dad. Amazon has yet to announced a premiere date for the new episodes.
I liked man in High Castle, but thats done. Don't like any of those other shows, especially the expanse
2 episodes in and loving it. Such a badass show. Even my father is enjoying it who has never cared for anything related to superheroes.
