Does he still have the ability to be effective at least on the offensive side of the ball? Would he be an upgrade over Shaun Livingston? & is he better than Scott Machado at this point in his career?
Yeah. Who cares that he can't acknowledge that he's washed up. Who cares that he's probably one of the worst veterans you could bring in to set an example for the young guys on your roster. Git r done Murray!
yeah they should hire him to do commentating. He'll fit right in with that Shmuck Bill Worrell, the guy who gave Drexler a hard time for "clubbing baby seals".
P E R S O N A L L Y !! I wouldn't sign him, however that doesn't leave the probability of it happening at zero. Honestly he's better than Sessions, Foye, & maybe Felton. I don't think he's better than Livingston, Machado, & even a guy we should bring in Jordan Taylor.
Jordan Taylor was nice at Wisconsin. He'll probally be overseas. I would bring back Rafer Alston before Iverson.
A.I. might draw some people to the games but I'd be afraid of how he'd influence the young guys on the team. Don't need our young guys picking up any of his bad habits...
I see your point, but these threads pop up after a Rocket loss during the season, too. More like: You want to know how I know I'm on Clutchfans?
We've already had an Allen Iverson type player that didn't work out. His name was Steve Francis. All offense, no defense, and a huge ego. No thank you. We already tried that with Aaron Brooks and we all see how well that turned out.
The next Chauncey Billups. Straight up. Wouldn't even mind Rafer man, he's never relied heavily on quickness, speed, or athleticism. With his game being primarily deception it wouldn't be too much of a liability to bring him aboard.
