I think with Kelly, Marino and Elway in the picture every year, this might have been the only way Moon got a lot of his starts.

He managed to get in the HOF despite the existence of those guys.

Yeah, he only had to do that once, and there were more than two slots available for his position.

Moon was just as good a QB as the above guys... and that's with wasting the first 5 years of his career in the CFL.

Hell, his NFL numbers may have been even better than all of the above guys had he played straight in after college.

On no planet was Warren Moon as good as John Elway...and that's coming from a huge Oiler and Moon fan. No way.

I loved the Oilers and Moon too but I googled his stats a while back and they were very mediocre, much worse than I remembered them being... he threw ALOT OF PICKS... equal to the amount of TDS he threw in most years.

Yes, but in the Brady thread we were told that stats didn't matter in those days.

one season of warren moon, in a time when men could play like man, translates to...
    8,000 yards/ 50 touchdowns/20 ints/ and a qbr of 98.9 :)

never liked warren moon though other than he was an oiler, how many afc championships did he go to? looking like a pattern for houston football teams post Bum phillips.

And did anyone not expect that from the pats, with a coach that acts like a total douche when he loses. When he is winning, he is singing all sorts of praises for the losers. =/

and what about Tony Gonzalez, he is out due to injury, but he didnt looked injured vs 49ers, is he sore loser too??

Also, Aaron Rodgers, Calvin Johnson, Clay Matthews, Von Miller were out too.
    due to injury.
never saw Rodgers, Matthews hurt, Megatron looked healthy in his last game.

I don't see a big deal of not playing in the pro bowl. They shouldn't be fined or anything for a game more than half the NFL fan base doesn't give a **** about. It's the worst "all-star" game out of any sport.
