So I'm scrolling down the recent list of All Star votes and under National League outfielders, Armando Rios is in 6th place and Shinjo is 7th. Is this some kind of joke! I referenced three different websites and the voting was the same everywhere. Can someone please explain this? Their stats are nowhere to speak of. There must be some kind of Armando Rios fan campaign to vote him in, it just doesn't make sense.
If there is a Jap player on a team, people in Japan tend to vote for that player and <b>everyone else</b> on that team <i>over and over again<i> (see David Bell).
