All Star Suggestion - G Leaguer

    What do you think about them adding a G Leaguer to each side?

    Intriguing. Wonder if there are also other ways to incorporate the G-League in the All-Star game.

    for what. there's already snubs every year and now a random G-leaguer who essentially plays pick up games, makes an NBA All Star team. nah im good

    I can see this being a really cool thing. It's sort of like adding the best collegiate player to the Men's National Team for the Olympics.

    So the poor souls can have their asses handed to him mercilessly by the most elite players in the NBA?

    You can definitely add a G-Leaguer to any or all of the skills contest, 3PT contest, dunk contest etc, but NOT the ASG for me lol.

    Honestly, at first, I got you confused with Roc Paint and I thought this was just an elaborate scheme to get his cousin Justin James into the all-star game.

    I'd rather have All World vs All USA. The competition will be more intense. World top 5-8 will be at par with US, I think.

    If/When the age restriction for the draft goes away and more young players choose the G-League instead of the NCAA that would be very interesting idea.

    ASG has become a popularity contest joke IMO. Without Defense in 3 Quarters.

    The Gleague MVP can score his 5 to 10 points like a bench Allstar would.

    With the talk about a mid season tournament like European soccer, IF they do then I'd like to see it include both NBA and g league teams! That's how the FA cup in England is done. David vs goliath games.

    Imagine a G-Leaguer scoring 20 pts in the first half
    Basically showing up the NBAers. . . .

    The game would get more interesting and defensive minded
    No one would want to be in the game where a G Leaguer got MVP of the game
