    My guess..

    Game 1: McHugh
    Game 2: Fiers
    Game 3: Keuchel
    Game 4: McCullers
    Game 5: McHugh

Gives Keuchel full rest and pitches at home. Maybe they swap Lance and Fiers. If we get through, it allows Keuchel to open the ALCS.

So no Kazmir is a given?

No, not a given. But if I were Hinch or Luhnow, I'd have a hard time going with him right now over any of the others.

McCullers is also a beast a home, so I might go with the first rotation

I would go with Kazmir game 2 personally. That's why you went out and got him.

really wish kazmir wouldn't be struggling so much, he has pretty good numbers vs KC. can't trust him right now though

    I would go

    Game 1: McHugh
Game 2: Kazmir (on a very short leash, hopefully the rest has helped)
    Game 3: Keuchel
    Game 4: McCullers
    Game 5: McHugh

Or when Pete Munro started games 2 and 6 against the Cards because Clemens blew out his hammy.

I think that is going to be the rotation, only reason for not having Kazmir tonight's roster is that he is going to pitch in KC.
Kazmir has the experience, and he still has the stuff, if he is healthy, he is the man. After he pitches we have a day off, and K is going after him so we can use the bullpen there.

If Kazmir is in the roster, and McCullers, then what 2 players go? Duffy is one for sure, but who is the other? I would not touch Villar, so maybe the odd men out is Qualls? I hope is not Fields.

He was nails down the stretch, they don't make the playoffs in '04 without him. He was just worn out, kinda like Neshek this year.

I would start Kazmir simply because he's a lefty and the royals have a lot of left handed bats

Would start Kazmir in Game 2 but have him on a short leash. Day off the next day gives us the opportunity to make it a bullpen game if need be.

There is zero chance he will start another game for the Atros again.

    Not even next season.
