I doubt the Knicks are still caring about their Lin decision. That's ancient history by now, isn't it?

Why is anyone surprised that Morey would trade Lin? It's his job to look at all roster upgrades. Only guys he wouldn't move (unless he gets back Lebron or Durant) are Dwight and Harden.

Alan Hahn is not a credible source for trade rumors.

He's a TV analyst working directly for the Knicks and MSG, not a beat reporter. The last time he was a beat reporter, he worked for Newsday which is also owned by MSG.

If it isn't written by Woj, it is low on the credibility scale.

Every asset is tradable according to Morey.

Parsons performed well for us. But with back spasm, he would trade him in a heart beat.

This is a business, nothing personal.

You would be surprised It continues to haunt them in the media, on the radio, and on the Knicks message boards and blogs. Jeremy Lin has become yet another of the Flag Bearer's symbolizing poor management decisions on the part of the Knicks front office.

You need to look at it this way, by NOT re-signing Lin (and letting him walk for nothing), the Knicks had to trade

    Jared Jeffries + 2 x 2nd round picks + Dan Gadzuric + Giorgos Printzios
    for
    Raymond Felton + Marcus Camby.

Now, the Knicks are 6-16, Felton has played really badly all season, and is now out for 2-3 weeks with a hamstring injury leaving the Knicks without a functional starting point guard.

And in the last 3 days, there's rumors that the Knicks are trying to acquire Kyle Lowry. Rumors are the Raptors are demanding...

Raymond Felton + Iman Shumpert + 2018 1st round pick
    or
Raymond Felton + Hardaway Jr + 2018 1st round pick
    or
Raymond Felton + Iman Shumpert + Tim Hardaway Jr

So right now Lin is coming up a LOT in the NY Media and among the fan base. By Not re-signing Lin, it's looking like the total cost to the Knicks may be as high as...

Two 2nd round picks, 5-6 players, and 0-1 first round picks.

All so they end up with Kyle Lowry. Lowry also happens to be on an expiring contract that ends this year which means he can walk at the end of the season and go somewhere else anyway...

There was loh in New York (yes I just said that) that wanted Felton back to ny and Dolan made it happen. I wouldn't be surprised if Dolan is going to do the same with Lin.

This isn't Earth Shattering. It's basic common sense. The Rockets can't afford to resign Lin, next year, so they trade him now while his value is highest. It's not a knock against Lin, it's just business. I wish him and his departing fans the best.

Correct it is, but expiring contract players, brooks, Canaan, 2014 free agency is not far away

Exactly. Hahn is paid to say whatever the Knicks' ownership would like to hear. The guy has never written anything insightful whatsoever and there'd be no reason why he'd have any inside information.

EXACTLYYY, even tho we would want a upgrade over him, and for the record I think he fits our system pretty well in all aspect, he brings in the $$$$, and the last time i checked, the NBA is a business, and a business thrives on money.

This is the best time to get the 3rd superstar and that's Melo,If Morey will trade Lin/Asik/DMO/TJones + 2pick for Melo/Felton/Shumpert,the deal will be done in a heartbeat.Houston will be contender again in the next 4 years.
