This is true if you ignore TDs, INTs, Yards per attempt, Yards per completion, Yards per Game, Completion Percentage, and QB Rating. Hoyer 2015 ran circles around Brock 2016 in every single statistical category - and it wasn't even close where you could find other factors. And with a much crappier run game, his offenses also scored far more points than this year.

Not a big enough sample size to reasonably conclude this. But I will say, throwing a green Savage or an unconfident Brock into a playoff game doesn't exactly help.

No one was really saying Savage was the long term answer, just that he's the best option currently

Other than the playoffs, Hoyer wasn't horrible last year. 19 TD's to 7 INT's isn't bad. That honestly ***** on Brock's pathetic stats this year. While making about 100x less.

Oh by the way, Hoyer eclipsed 300 yards in all four of his starts this year (something Brock is yet to do) while throwing 6 TD's and no picks. I'm no Hoyer fan, but you're irrational hatred for him is on par with the nut-jobs that post in the Lin thread every 5 minutes. Especially when he has played way better than Brock anyway you slice it.

Osweiler is playing on Division winning and Super Bowl CHAMP teams, being gifted into great situations.

And is NOT getting it done.

Brian Hoyer has played most his career in the wretched bogs of Cleveland, and on this year's Bears team...

And Hoyer has a career WINNING record. Whats actually the better production given the situations?

Truth be told, Hoyer is doing what a reserve NFL QB is supposed to do - be adequate and keep the team affloat, even when you're NOT given the #1 defense in the league all your years. You can do much worse, such as 2016 Osweiler.
